Tonight is the first night that the National Guard will be deployed to act in Ferguson. Scenes from the last few nights are heartbreaking, and seeing how the media themselves are being treated like dirt? Well it "skins me bald" like my dad used to say. I'll be watching this and keeping up, but reports from some media doesn't match the reports of others. You can almost see the 'dividing line' being drawn. The major networks say this, but live video in the field tends to say different.
What struck me most last night were the young ladies there to cover the story, eyes circled by smeared makeup and red from the gas. Everyone seems tired, beyond tired, but still they stand for hours and share what is going on with the world. Special thanks to KARG Argus Radio for keeping up the great work!
