You know it's going to be a long night ahead when people start wrapping things up all over the place, saying thank you's and goodbyes, and begin steeling their nerves for another night on the line. I can't even believe this is happening.
I knew the mainstream lied about things, but it's NEVER been quite so intent to cover the barest minimum (because people are asking WHY it's not being covered) and to slant it with buzzwords and skewed perceptions. Have you seen the video NBC showed? I watched from 2 other angles, that man was never in real danger, but he was scared as hell. Still he tried to do what was right, I would hope. I wish he tried to do what was right. I'm having a real problem with believing a system could be so corrupt right here in the good ol' USA.
It keeps proving itself time and again. Enough of the balance is going to shift. all they need is just ONE MORE STUPID GODDAMN THING to happen and it's all expected to go crazy. People are being advised to lay low, that whatever happens it will be dangerous. Others are going for their own reasons. If people can remain calm, I hope to God that they do so. I hope everyone is praying for the people in #Ferguson tonight. If you can't send money (pick a cause, there are many that could use it) then support them in any way you can.
Get to know people. They are the people that have lived there for 15 years, raised children, and know the Mayor's car when it zooms past on the road. Many of them are so good and so kind that it breaks our hearts to see them jailed or worse just for being there. Get to know them and you'll see people, not "protesters".
